Team van Amsterdam is a competitive mens curling team representing the Thistle curling club in Edmonton, Alberta.

Coming out of juniors, team EVA’s goal is to establish themselves as a force in the Alberta curling scene, building up to representing the province in the Brier and beyond.

Occupation: Golf Professional at Highlands Golf Club.
Favourite Curling Memory: making the game winning draw in the extra end to win back to back CCAA national championships.
Fun Facts:

  • Cheered harder for the Leafs to lose than the Oilers to win
  • All aboard the Patrick Mahomes band wagon

    Favourite Curling Memory: Travelling to Stockholm, Sweden, to play in the 2019 Bill Ross Trophy.

    Occupation: Outdoor Services Supervisor at Earl Grey Golf Club.
    Favourite Curling Memory: Going to the curling club as a kid with my Grandma, to spare in Wednesday morning ladies league.

  • Favourite sport franchises are, Edmonton Oilers, Kansas City Royals, and Miami Dolphins
  • Massive fan of Formula 1 and Lewis Hamilton

    Favourite Curling Memory: Winning the Sunlife Financial Junior Challenge in Brandon

    Occupation: Engineering Co-op Student at Transport Canada.
    Favourite Curling Memory: Travelling to Sweden to participate in the Over the Pond Junior Curling Exchange.
    Fun Facts:

  • First time curling without another lefty in 8 seasons
  • Picked the Habs over the Leafs in his bracket but also chose Edmonton to win the cup so it doesn't really matter
